I am absolutely delighted with the bootlifter installation. All along the process, the communication from Vehicle Adaptions has been fantastic and they have been so helpful.

I am so incredibly happy with my modifications from Vehicle Adaptions. I never thought I would ever get a modification that has no fault or downside, but Vehicle Adaptions proved me wrong. I am over the moon with them and their work. In addition, the handover by Conrad was explained so thoroughly and expertly. I got a really good look at all aspects of the bootlifter and boot opener. I've been driving with hand controls for over twenty years now, and have driven five different personal vehicles fitted with hand controls over the years. I have also driven several other rental vehicles, including two or three modified by Vehicle Adaptions. I have to say, the most recent modifications to our personal vehicle, performed by Vehicle Adaptions, are the nicest I've ever used. I sincerely appreciate their attention to detail, it makes driving very pleasant. And above all, the friendly service we received has been second-to-none.

One thing in particular that I love, and can recommend, is the hinged accelerator pedal. My first car many years ago had an iron plate with a cable to block the accelerator, which was fine until the day the cable broke while I was driving. Subsequent modifications to personal or family cars all used some variety of removable plate in front of the accelerator. Vehicle Adaptions' hinged pedal is an elegant solution to the issue of accidentally pressing the pedal with my foot, and it works beautifully.
Speaking of beautiful, the modifications actually look good, which is another first for me. As far as anyone can tell, it almost looks like the car came from the manufacturer with hand controls installed. While this may vary from vehicle to vehicle, it's a nice touch.

And just to reiterate, the service we experienced from Vehicle Adaptions was both excellent and friendly. The staff were very flexible and accommodating, over a period of many months, until we were finally able to get the car and have it modified. And they were even extremely helpful to us during the very challenging circumstances of the initial COVID-19 lockdown. It's a testament to their character and culture that the people of Vehicle Adaptions put people first. We are very grateful for their good work and kindness!

​Bert is very excited about his seat, and the engineering of it.  He can’t see too well now, but he can see enough to figure it out.  A young man came over to demonstrate the turny seat to Bert, so he is aware of how it works.  It will be good to get out again with ease of transferring him in and out of the car. We are looking forward to a drive, and using the seat. Can’t come soon enough for me. Bert talks about it a lot too, so I think he is well pleased with the changes. He is turning 100 years old and the team made sure he got his vehicle before his birthday.

I am absolutely delighted with the van. I am using it for short outings at the moment until we get the video from CCS for training purposes for the staff. My brother-in-law, John, has taken me on a short outing and thinks it is very good to load and unload. He likes the clamps for my chair.
