From humble beginnings operating in a home workshop, Vehicle Adaptions Ltd has evolved to offering a full range of specialist disability products and services for vehicles. Based in Christchurch, we have been adapting vehicles to people’s needs now for over 25 years. We are well known within the vehicle disability industry and take great pride in our workmanship and providing a high quality of service, that ensures every customer gets the right solution for their requirements. IN THE OFFICE |
Margaret
Director Margaret has created a strong team culture that prioritise the customer’s best interest. Margaret ensures our team are well equipped for an industry that is constantly changing and innovating, prioritising training and development.

Leonie
Operations Leonie is responsible for scheduling supplier work and communicating directly with customers throughout the entire modification process. She is one of the first friendly faces you will see in the Vehicle Adaptions office.

Tui
Engineering Support Tui works closely with our engineering team to ensure things run smoothly from start to finish on a job; he is the glue between the office and workshop. He is also tasked with ensuring every customer is confident using their new modification.

Nanise
Estimator Nanise is a key part of the office team and in charge of modification quoting and invoicing. Her degree in civil engineering is a big asset when comes to creating innovative solutions for customers.
RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT TEAM
Jotham
Designer Team lead of Research and Development, Jotham is responsible for finding and creating new solutions for our customers and creating efficiencies. He can also be found helping in the workshop and getting on the tools himself.

Zewdi
Assistant Zewdi works with the Vehicle Adaptions team part-time and full time in between semesters. She jumps between the teams, assisting in the office, out on the road, and works on a range of long-term projects.
Mark
Computer Engineer Mark is the second member of the Research and Development team. Mark is committed to making sure the team have the most up-to-date solutions available to ensure our customers get the best results every time.

Hamish
Engineering Technician Hamish has more than nine years of experience in mechanical engineering, welding, and fabrication. Hamish interacts with customers and therapists to assess requirements and create customised solutions best suited to each customer.

Stewart
Engineering Technician Stewart brings seven years of mechanical engineering experience to the team and has a passion for modifications. Stewart goes above and beyond, working with every customer to create innovative transport solutions.

Craig
Senior Auto Electrician Craig has more than 15 years of experience in automotive electrical engineering. His extensive knowledge has made him a sought-after problem solver. He has a keen interest, and additional qualifications in the field of electric vehicles

Workshop Assistant |

Tom is a junior auto electrician; he has developed excellent skills and knowledge in the field of auto electrical vehicle modifications and is a valued member of our team. He is often found wiring modifications or serving hoists.

Junior technician Callum is a welcome addition to the workshop team, a newly qualified technician who is starting his career in our specialised industry. He has a mechanical engineering certificate at Ara Institute of Canterbury.

Vehicle Adaptions’ allrounder, you’ll see Josh out and about delivering customer vehicles, picking up tools for the team, and helping in the workshop. Josh is integral to our operations, keeping things ticking along for everyone.
