Three wheels, all-terrain and built for adventure
The Motom is a powerful, electric, all-terrain three-wheeler — purpose-built for exploring the outdoors. From rugged tracks to sandy trails, it’s designed to take you where you want when you want, including sharing those outdoor experiences with friends and family. And now it's being made right here at Vehicle Adaptions.
Built with you in mind
|
Created by Andrew Nash, who lives with a progressive disability, the Motom was born from a desire to stay active, keep adventuring and enjoy the outdoors. Since then, Andrew has custom-built Motoms for people across Aotearoa, helping others reclaim their freedom. Now, Vehicle Adaptions is proud to carry that vision forward. After working alongside Andrew over the past year, we’re now building Motoms to order in our Christchurch factory — same smart design, same adventurous spirit, and fully customisable to suit your needs. |

The Motom has been wonderful for me, giving me lots of adventures, and a dopamine and serotonin hit from being outdoors, and enabling rides with friends and family which is so important to me. It's made what I do very social, got others riding more, and I've ridden over 5000 km in it. I take it out six days a week now.

Built for New Zealand conditions

Whether you're hitting bike trails, tackling the beach, forest tracks, back-country farmland or simply heading out with friends and family, every Motom is designed to make it easier and more fun. Built with New Zealand conditions in mind, and low-maintenance, Motoms are built with corrosion-resistant materials, with an aluminum chassis and stainless-steel steering components and fasteners. The Motom has two widely spaced front wheels providing downhill stability and confidence on uneven ground. The rear wheel improves hill climbing ability. Strong traction and manageable torque let you tackle gravel and rough tracks. |

Built to go the Distance

With Intuitive controls the Motom is easy to steer and brake and throttle management is simple - all controls are able to be operated with one hand or two - so you can focus on enjoying the ride. A single standard battery is 48 V, 17 Ah, will give you a range of up to 40km on flat, hard surfaces (terrain dependent). And with a full charge taking around four hours, you'll be able to be out there every day. You can also carry an optional extra battery for longer adventures. |
